National Battery Day Unveils Three Lucky Winners
National Battery Day – National Battery Day unveils 3 lucky winners. It’s a national day to celebreate the invention of the battery. Some have suggested not using any electronic devices as a way to celebrate.
The day is used to celebrate the invention of batteries, so why not take the Rayovac Challenge on Facebook? The competition begun on Valentine’s Day and today is the day that you are able to enter the info that you’ve collected over the past five days. You’ll see a form on their Facebook page, where you need to enter your name, email, country, birthday along with a five word sentence, which will probably be easy in the event you have been visiting Rayovac’s blogs every day.
3 lucky winners will win a one-year supply of Rayovac batteries, which could run into hundreds of dollars. It’s no secret that our range of electronic devices require lots of power while we are on the go, or even for those mountain of kids toys – but not particular if we are as reliant on them any more? The reason we say this is simply because most of our portable devices now have batteries built-in, which can be charged time and once more.
Rayovac has been around since 1906, when James Bowen Ramsay founded it, even though they did start life out as the French Battery Co. It took four years for the business to begin making money. It was not until 1930 when the name changed to Ray-O-Vac, and also the rest they say is history.
