Komodo Island is the NEW 7 Wonders of The World

A Country will be known and famous around the world, one of them because their beauty and uniqueness. There are many ways to make a Country will be famous and know by all people around the world. One of them by introducing  their tourism product. Indonesia is a rich country on their tourist object. There are many exotic places over there which can attract to the foreigners. Recently, one of amazing places which intensively promoted is Komodo Island.

Komodo Island is the NEW 7 Wonders of  The World, Should we know that after Borobudur Temple didn’t get in 7 New Natures categories, now Ministry of Cultural and Tourism of Indonesia is going to strive. They attempt to Komodo National Park get into the Seven New Natures in the world on National Park Category. If this target is fulfilled, it will give big impact to tourism industrial, at least can invite the foreigner to visit Indonesia.

Komodo island is designated as part of National Park on March 6th, 1980 which marked the inauguration of the national park by President Soeharto.

At 1986, Komodo National Park become a “Cagar Biosfer” and also World Heritage Site at 1991. The area of Komodo Ialand reachs about 173.300 hectares which includes approximately 40,728 hectares of land and water area 32,572 hectares.

There are three Islands inluded in Komodo National Park, those are Komodo island (33.937 hectare), Rinca island (19.625 hectare) and Padar Island (2.017 hectare). Komodo National Park is located at an altitude of about 735 meters above sea level.

According to the data was reported by Balai Taman Nasional Komodo (BTNK), as a Governmental agencies in charge of the Komodo National Park, state that this ancient animals which are suspected as human twins, carrying about 1,500 animal  live on the Rinca Island, while there are 1,500 others live on the Komodo Island and some others Komodo live on the Padar Island and Gili Motang Island.

In the Komodo National Park , especially in Komodo Island, carrying about 360 families who live on that island, but they never kill this giant lizards, because they believe that Komodo has been regarded as their ancestor.

Let supports this one of  Tourim Industrial Indonesia, that is Komodo Island, in order to be a New 7 Wonders of the World, because we support Komodo Island is the NEW 7 Wonders of  The World
